09:30 Pick up from your hotel and drive to Aphrodisias. Located approximately 40km from Pamukkale, this ancient site contains some very impressive Roman ruins. Named after the Greek goddess Aphrodite, the city was built near a marble quarry and this marble was used extensively in Aphrodisias and throughout the Roman empire. The highlights of Aphrodisias are Sebastian, Theater, Agora, Tiberius Portico, Hadrian Baths, Bishop Palace, Aphrodite Temple, Odeon, Stadium and Tetraphylon. Then you will have free time for Aphrodisias museum. After the museum visit we will have lunch in a local restaurant. 15:00 Departure from Aphrodisias. 16:30 Arrival to Pamukkale, drive back to your hotel.
