Contemplate the amazing frescoes that cover the wall of one temple; see the ominous Temple of the Descending God; admire the Temple of the God of Winds; and, last but not least, discover the magnificent El Castillo, the temple built upon a cliff with commanding views of the coast. Continue to Xel-Há, a natural aquarium renowned around the world for its brightly coloured tropical fish that scuttle beneath the surface. It also boasts dramatic limestone formations that make for a wondrous backdrop. Test your mettle at the dizzying Stone of Courage; try the treacherous Trepachanga; the ‘refreshing’ Salpichanga; and the thrilling Mo’s Flight.
